Administration

Formula Rationale

Resinall E Tabs contain proteolytic enzymes which have been shown in clinical studies to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation associated with injuries as well as surgeries. It also may be effective for other inflammatory conditions, particularly for flare-ups of rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. Resinall E Tabs contain enzymes, enteric-coated to resist stomach acid, from four sources to offer a broad spectrum action. It also contains rutin, a bioflavonoid widely used in the treatment of injuries.

Each tablet also contains 350 mg of the Resinall K formula. Many of these ingredients depend on resinous compounds for their analgesic and healing effects. Dragon’s blood (xue jie) treats hemorrhage and pain. Tienchi (san qi) is cool and astringent. It assists dragon’s blood in stopping bleeding and generating new tissue. Frankincense (ru xiang) and myrrh (mo yao) are especially useful for damaged tissues. Carthamus (hong hua) invigorates blood. Corydalis (yan hu suo) relieves stagnant Qi and is indicated for pain due to blood stasis and traumatic injury. This is important, as trauma can cause the Qi to become stagnant. Corydalis is considered a strong herbal analgesic. Borneol (bing pian) opens up the channels.

Clinical Notes

1. For best results take Resinall E Tabs immediately following trauma. For contact sports such as boxing or football, martial arts, surgery or anticipated trauma Resinall E Tabs may be taken before, during, and after the event for best results
2. It has also been successfully used to stop gastrointestinal bleeding
3. Good formula to keep in the medicine chest
4. Especially useful for long term headaches. It is usually taken for 1 to 2 months and then replaced with constitutional formulas
